Not For Sale. One Step At A Time is an active nonprofit organization working alongside local authorities, community partners, schools, universities, and people like you to disrupt the demand for human trafficking throughout Stark County, Summit County, Northeast Ohio, and across Ohio.
Our mission is to provide information that empowers you to take action
We empower and inspire action by educating communities and raising awareness about human trafficking. Important topics include recognizing the signs of sex trafficking and labor trafficking, understanding who traffickers are and how they target victims, identifying who may be vulnerable, and learning how parents and caregivers can help protect children. When more people know how to recognize the warning signs and what to do when trafficking is suspected, that knowledge can help save a life.
Who We Are
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing human trafficking and providing education that raises awareness of this modern-day tragedy.
As residents of Northeast Ohio, we are passionate about helping end human trafficking and seeing every survivor free, supported, and able to heal from physical and emotional trauma. We believe there is hope and that prevention begins with education.

What We Are Doing to Help End the Demand
We educate communities throughout Stark County, Summit County, Northeast Ohio, and across Ohio about the realities of human trafficking locally, nationally, and globally. We shine a light on human trafficking through our annual Community Freedom Summit, One-Mile Freedom Walk, community events, and educational outreach. We also raise awareness through media, social networks, presentations in schools and universities, and partnerships with businesses and community organizations.

We are passionate about using our voice to speak for those who have been silenced by human trafficking. Through awareness, education, and community outreach, we believe people can come together as a powerful force to help prevent exploitation and end the demand for human trafficking.
